Kedarnath is a town located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated in the Himalayas at an altitude of 3,583 meters above sea level and is a popular pilgrimage destination for Hindus. The town is known for the Kedarnath Temple, which is one of the four sacred Char Dham Yatra sites and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The temple is open to visitors from April to November and can only be reached by a steep trek from Gauri Kund or by helicopter. In 2013, the town was severely affected by a devastating flood and landslide, resulting in loss of life and extensive damage to infrastructure.

01 Day :Rishikesh / haridwar pickup – Sitapur/Sersi

Pickup from Rishikesh/ haridwar Drive to Sersi/Sitapur Dinner & overnight Stay in hotel.

02 Day : Guptkashi/ Sersi – kedarnath

Early Morning breakfast and then start yatra by Trek and then after darshan come back in hotel Guptkashi / phata dinner overnight stay at hotel.
Gaurikund: At a distance of 5kms from Sonprayag and at an altitude of 1982 meters. One can take bath in the hot water pond here and visit the Gauri Temple. This is the place where Goddess Parvathi meditated to attain Lord Shiva. It is the base for a trek to Guptakashi /sitapur.
Kedarnath: The Kedarnath shrine, one of the 12 jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva, is a scenic spot situated, against the backdrop of the majestic Kedarnath range. Kedar is another name of Lord Shiva, the protector and the destroyer. According to legend, the Pandavas after having won over the Kaurava in the Kurukshetra war, felt guilty of having killed their own brothers and sought the blessings of Lord Shiva for redemption. He eluded them repeatedly and while fleeing took refuge at Kedarnath in the form of a bull. On being followed he dived into the ground, leaving his hump on the surface. The remaining portions of Lord Shiva appeared at four other places and are worshipped there as his manifestations. The arms appeared at Tungnath, the face at Rudranath, the belly at Madhmaheshwar and his locks (hair) with head at Kalpeshwar. Kedarnath and the four above-mentioned shrines are treated as Panch Kedar.
Shankaracharya Samadhi: The Samadhi of Adi Guru Shankaracharya is located just behind the Kedarnath temple. It is said that after establishing four sacred Dhams in India, he went into his Samadhi at an early age of 32 years.
Bhaironath temple: About half a kilometer away from Kedarnathji, a small temple is dedicated to Bhaironath. It is worshipped on the opening and closing day of Sri Kedarnath Shrine. It is believed that when Kedarnathji temple is closed, Bhaironathji protects this land from evil.
Rituals & Activities : Visit Guptkashi,Gaurikund , Snan in Tapt Kund at Gauri Kund and Darshan of Gauri Ganesh Temple & get blessing of Ganesha and start the trek of kedarnath Ji. 03 Day : Kedarnath/ sersi-Guptkashi

After Morning Darshan of sh. Kedarnath Dham start your trek to Gaurikund. Further drive to Sersi/Sitapur check in to hotel dinner and overnight stay.

4 DAY: Guptkashi-Haridwar drop.

Morning breakfast check out and drive for Haridwar/Rishikesh drop r. Proceed to Srinagar Enroute visit, Kund, Rudraprayag, Srinagar Devprayag on the way And finally drop. Our services will end here

Please start to get in shape NOW!!! A good 15 minutes’ walk, jogging daily, stretching and regular exercise should put you in
the right shape (Concentrate on your heart & legs – Aerobics). Porters will be carrying the bulk of your equipment, but it is
recommended that you bring a good day pack and are fit enough to carry snacks, filled water bottle/small scissors and knife,
waterproof matches, safety pins, Thermometer, Lighter, Dehydration salt (electoral) packets, Neoprene Powder and cream.
Heat balm for muscles/joints, Vicks inhaler / vapourub, Chopsticks. Dry Fruits/snacks, camera, Film, Map, Jumper, Sun Hat,
First Aid Kit, Light weight Rain Gear, Extra Cloth etc.

Anti - Inflammatory:-

Avil, Brufen or Motrin. Aspirin / Tylenol or general painkillers.
Strong sunscreen oil, skin antibiotic cream/ Antifungal Ointment Lozenges / Strepsils (plenty).

Clothing’s:-

Clothing’s for both extremes of climate and temperature. While driving to Chardham Yatra, it will be warm inside the vehicle and light clothing will be required, but as soon as you step out of the vehicle, warm clothing will be required to keep off the cold winds of the Himalayas.
